1961 Morris Mini Minor showing 27000 Miles. Very good survivor car which looks very original. We have the V5 lots of old MOTs and some paperwork relating to work done on it. Car was originally registered as 261 BLU but this was transferred off at some stage and it was given its current number which is non transferrable.
Body - Very solid car underneath, which needs nothing doing. Its had a floor pan repair at some stage but is solid, Good sills , wheel arches, subframes, pillars etc. Only bit of bubbling is under bootlid on rear panel in both corners. Paintwork is presentable and perfectly useable. Its not a super shiny show car but a very charming survivor.
Mechanics - Good little 850 engine which fires up no problem. Bit of smoke when cold but clears. Clutch and gearbox seem fine. Brakes are poor but we will have a look at this in the coming week. The car has only covered 1500 miles in the last 16 years so may need an element or recommissioning.
Interior - Looks very original with early seats, push button start on the floor, white speedo with big needle. Super cool little car inside
Wheels - Standard wheels with chrome hubcaps and trim rings.
This is a really charming old car which has survived very well and retained lots of its original features. You are welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath.
