Body - Mk2 Escort export spec shell with similar strengthening to our RS models. Original strut tops , sills, arches . Front floors look original,  Original spare wheel well.Will need a minor repair on nsf where bumper bracket comes through. Paintwork is nice but has a few minor marks as you would expect of a car this age. Has obviously been repainted at some stage in its life.  N/S inner wing has been modified to take the battery rather than the conventional battery tray. I suspect that its had a bigger engine in it at some point Generally a decent shell.

 

Mechanics - Car starts and runs. Engine sounds good and doesnt smoke like a beagle in a laboratory. Clutch and brakes are ok. All standard sport with standard 4 speed box. Box jumps out of second so another box will be supplied with the car. Carb will need adjusted due to the different climate.

 

Interior - Original seats which are ok but could do with a deep clean. Few marks on front seats. Good headlining and carpet. Doorcards have speaker holes, Dashtop is ok but looks to have been recovered a bit roughly. 

 

Wheels - Diamond Cut RS / Laser Wheels with 175 70 13 tyres.
