Ford Escort Mk1 Fast Road / Track day / Race Car. This car has been built on a superb shell and had fortunes spent on it. Its a RHD import from South Africa with all the tax and duty paid. The NOVA has been done and we have the paperwork with it so it can be UK registered. We will fill out all the registration paperwork for the new owner. The car is a 1969 early mk1 shell.

 

Shell - 1969 Early type shell which looks absolutely superb underneath. Its all painted white with no stone chip or underseal so you can see how clean it is. The shell has all the strengthening you would see on a type 49 shell, but no studs through the boot floor. Inside it has a fully welded in cage and again the floor is all painted white with no stone chip or underseal. The car itself is nice and straight along the sides. The doors fit well and dont stick out at the bottom. Bubble arches are fibreglass but been fitted well. Paintwork is nice as well. Really good looking car. 

 

Mechanics - 1600 Crossflow on Twin Webers, Hi lift Cam, Uprated, Pulleys, 5 Speed Type 9 Gearbox Coilovers front and back, rose jointed front suspension arms, single leaf rear springs, grooved vented discs front, grooved rear discs. All new calipers. Braided hoses. Everything looks new. Flyoff handbrake, bias pedal box, dash mount reservoirs, Car looks to have been all wired up properly and everything appears to work. Clutch currently needs bled. Custom exhaust. Adjustable strut top mounts. Car will start and run and sounds good but has a slight blow at exhaust manifold which needs sorting.

 

Interiors - Full Roll cage. Race seat and harness which look new, Custom electronic dash display. 

 

Wheels - 15" style superlight alloys with nearly new tyres.
