1985 Ford Escort 1600 Bantam Pickup. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration has been done. We will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner. Very Solid underneath. starts runs and drives but will need tidied

 

Body - Genuine Ford built Escort Bantam pickup. This one is very solid underneath. Its never been welded . Will need lower front panel replaced and a bit of rust showing on both door bottoms. Apart from that its cracking. Floors are mint, pick up bed is solid, good battery tray, sills, arches..Paintwork is showing its age a little as it was a working vehicle. 

 

Mechanics - 1600 CVH carburettor engine. Starts runs and drives  Good brakes, clutch, 4 Speed gearbox. Will need a good checkover before using properly

 

Interior - Original bench seat in good order. Would benefit from a scrub up but no nasty rips or tears

 

Wheels - Original steels with average tyres

 

These little trucks are very rare as they were only built for the South African market. Its very difficult to find them in decent order. Please feel free to come and see the truck. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required please ask for a quote.
