Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Sport. Car was imported around three years ago and has had a fair bit spent on it. Its fully Uk registered. V5 is here. Immobiliser fitted. Car is on the button ready to use. Its very solid and straight. 

 

Body - Export spec 1600 Sport shell with extra strengthening similar to our RS models. Good original inner wings, strut tops, arches boot wells. Good floors. Just had a repair done to nsf floor pan which is to a good standard. Shell is solid underneath. Paintwork is nice and tidy. Panel gaps are good. Fibreglass rear spoiler. If im being critical the stripes are a little wavy but an easy fix

 

Mechanics - Good 1600 crossflow and original 4 speed box. Starts runs and drives. New carb was fitted when it was first put on the road. Standard Sport suspension and brakes. Can be used as  it is. Would benefit from a bit sound deadening under the carpet.

 

Interior - Two door Ghia seats fitted which are in good order and tilt properly. MPH dash fitted. Black Headlining. Drivers doorcard has a bit wear on the bottom. Dashtop has been repaired in the past and could be better

 

Wheels - Polished Laser wheels with good tyres. Wheels look straight enough but would benefit from a good few hours of polishing
