1992 Ford Escort Bantam. This is a RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. The NOVA declaration has been done. The truck will need an MOT before it can be UK registered but we will fill out all the forms for the new owner. Its really solid and will start but does have mechanical issues that need addressed. Its an ideal project vehicle.

Body - MK4 Escort Bantam. This is a very original old truck which looks solid underneath. Its original inner wings, battery tray, sills, arches and so on. The floors look very good and dry. The chassis rails are good. The rear tub has been used but has no holes or rot. Paintwork looks fairly original but would need redone if you wanted a nice tidy truck.

Mechanics - The pickup does start and run but the engine has more back pressure than the bogs in the Bombay Garden on Vindaloo night. As a minimum it would need a head gasket done but might be more terminal. We have only driven it round the yard but the gearbox selects gears, clutch works and the brakes feel OK. Obviously as a project vehicle it would need checking over from front to back.

Interior - Bench seat is fairly tidy and perfectly useable. Door cards have aftermarket speakers fitted. No cracks on dash. Headlining is good.

Wheels- 5 x original steel wheels with centre caps and chrome trim rings. Tyres are ok
