Ford Capri 3.0 GT Auto, RHD Import from South Africa which is fully UK registered. We have the V5 here. The car is very solid  and really good underneath. It does start and run. Paintwork is poor and interior needs updating....but what a solid example.

 

Body - Genuine 3.0 shell with all the correct strengthening plates in place. Very good underneath and all looks very original. Not a patchwork quilt like some. Orifinal inner wings, struttops, good doors, boot bonnnet, sills, pillars. It really is a cracking bodyshell for its age. Paintwork is average at best. Looks like its been redone cheaply at some point.

 

Interior - Good front and rear seats. Good door cards. Dash top and parcel shelf will need replaced/ retrimmed. Original steering wheel and centre console. Black headlining, not sure if thats original but dont think so. 

 

Mechanics - Car does start and run but not been used for a while so will need fully checked over and going through. Engine a bit smoky on start up if left for a while but clears when it warms up. We suspect the valve stem oil seals but further investigation is required. Everything else appears to be standard

 

Wheels - Half chrome Rostyles with average tyres.
