Ford Capri 280 Brooklands . This car has covered 75000 miles from new, has had 6 previous owners and is in remarkable condition. It had a full nut and bolt restoration during 2018 / 2019 and has been done to a very high standard. 100s of hours went into getting the car to how it looks today. We have the original handbooks, few old MOTs and detailed receipts for all the restoration and parts bought. This has to be one of the best available currently. The car has spent most of its life in Northern Ireland. Current plate which is a private plate comes with the car. The car was previously registered as FGZ 1323

 

Body - Looks superb. Panel gaps are good . Car is very straight. The paintwork is lovely.  Underneath the car is all detailed and the floors are grey with the overspray going onto the chassis legs and outer floors as it would have left the factory we are told. This car looks all original structurally. If its had any panels then the work is first class as I cant see any signs of repairs. very minor mark on bottom of drivers door. Hardly noticeable unless its on the ramp but I have to point it out.

 

Mechanics -  Car starts and runs very well and drives lovely, as it should . Everything has been gone through and either refurbished or replaced as part of the restoration process. Sunroof tilts ok but wont slide. Looks like the small lever that you use to change the direction on the sunroof has broken of. Winder handle is ok. The heater fan works on both speeds.

 

Interior - All standard and in superb condition. Seats look to have been retrimmed but again a first class job and probably better than original. Dash top is good with no cracks. Door cards and carpet are excellent. It has fitted overmats with the Capri 280 logo on them. 

 

Wheels - Original 15" Brooklands wheels which have been refurbished with new tyres.
